Pro Tips
- Fill the tub or sink with water before applying sealant around the perimeter. The weight of the water pulls the fixture to its lowest point. Seal at this position so the sealant is not stretched when the fixture is loaded -- this prevents the seal from pulling away during use.
- Remove old caulk completely before reapplying. New caulk does not bond well to old caulk. Use a caulk removal tool and clean the surfaces with rubbing alcohol before applying fresh sealant.
