Pro Tips
- Use white wipers when applying stain -- you can see exactly when the cloth stops picking up excess stain, telling you the surface is wiped clean and ready.
- Oily rags (linseed oil, Danish oil, tung oil) can spontaneously combust. After use, spread oil-soaked rags flat to dry outdoors or submerge in a sealed water-filled metal container. Never ball up and discard oil-soaked rags in a trash bin.
