3260 1/2" Cove Hemlock is a solid hemlock cove moulding, unfinished -- ready for your choice of paint, stain, or clear finish. Cove moulding creates a concave transition between two surfaces -- typically where a wall meets a ceiling, shelf, or cabinet face. The concave profile softens the junction with a simple, clean curve. Available at Windsor Plywood locations across Canada.

Installed at wall-ceiling junctions, shelf undersides, and cabinet transitions. Smaller profile than crown moulding for a subtler effect. Hemlock is the preferred softwood for stained moulding. Its pitch-free surface means no bleed-through under paint and no blotching under stain.
What is the difference between cove and crown moulding?
Cove is a simple concave curve. Crown is a more complex, often larger profile with multiple curves and flat sections. Cove is subtler and less formal; crown makes a stronger architectural statement.
Why choose hemlock over pine?
Hemlock is pitch-free -- no resin bleed under paint, no sticky sap. It also accepts stain more evenly than pine. Hemlock is the premium softwood choice when finish quality matters.
