Brett's Live Edge Maple Table Project

A project shared from Windsor Plywood head office. It was created by an employees husband, Brett, and given to their daughter as a Christmas present. It was Brett's first live edge table and definitely won't be his last. Excellent work!

Wood- Maple Slab debarked Bottom Glass- 1/4" Tinted Blue Stain- Danish oil (light walnut) Crack & knot hole filler- metallic blue mica powder mixed with Ecopoxy Legs- metal tubular 18" x 24" Finish- Ecopoxy Lighting- (4) LED remote control lights under the slab.

Made a template of the middle line edge, had the glass cut and then traced out the glass onto the wood. It was then routered and the glass set into the recess. The top of the glass was backfilled with 3/8" of ecopoxy.
