Fir Live Edge

Fir trees grows to be very large, and yields a large amount of usable lumber and veneer for plywood. The wood is very stiff and strong for its weight, and is also among the hardest and heaviest softwoods in North America. Ideal for mantels, tables, counters or furniture.

Grain/Texture Generally straight, or slightly wavy. Medium to coarse texture, with moderate natural luster

Widths 12" - 15", 24" - 34", 35" and wider!
Workability Machines well. Glues and finishes well.
