MDF Mouldings - Are manufactured to exacting quality standards from #1 quality medium density fiberboard. MDF offers the advantages of finger joint pine without the disadvantages. Standard builder lengths, 100% defect free with no knots, no checks, no splits, no raised or torn grain, more resistant to dings and dents, and you can drill, route, saw, nail, cope, screw or shape without chipping or splitting. Primed with a lacquer based primer.
Ultralite MDF mouldings are lightweight for simplicity of installation and handling. Cuts, copes mitres, nails and staples with ease.
Pacific Coast Hemlock - These mouldings accept paint or stain exceptionally well. The light uniform colour is perfectly suited to accept any stain from light to dark to anything in between. Holds nails or screws very well. This hard wearing surface, with it’s resistance to scraped and dents makes Hemlock mouldings ideal for use in high traffic areas.
Knotty Pine - For a casual, informal look. Stain or varnish, tinted or clear to suit the decor. The reddish brown tight knots add interest to any room.
Fingerjoint Pine - Mouldings are primed with a lacquer-based primer, which provides a clearly superior paint surface to the water based primed products offered by others. No grain raise, fuzzing, or fingerjoints showing through. Less paint, little or no sanding, less hassle.
Oak Mouldings - Has a well-recognized and pronounced grain, which is enhanced by varnish or stain.
Red Oak Mouldings are a consistent light brown shade with a hint of red. This oak does not exhibit the open grain or dark gray streaks that are prevalent in Southern Red Oak.
Maple Mouldings - Stained or varnished, clear or tinted, this moulding is enhanced by the natural luxury of its hardwood. Cream to light reddish brown in color, maple mouldings will compliment the presentation of the increasingly popular Maple flooring and Maple kitchen cabinets.
Primed Flat Stock - Available in varies widths perfect for use as casing and baseboards for that clean contemporary look.
