An Introduction to Windsor Plywood
Windsor Plywood has experienced dynamic growth and now encompasses all of Western Canada with 60 locations and 3 in the United States.

The initial concept, as started in North Vancouver in 1969, was to create a specialty plywood warehouse which would bring stock closer to the contractors in the area and serve the fast growing do-it-yourself market. The marketing plan at that time, as it is today, is to specialize in finishing products including hardwood flooring, doors, plywoods and mouldings.

A key ingredient in the success of the concept, has been the emphasis placed on customer service and competitive pricing. Each store is staffed by qualified personnel who are capable of giving good advice, are product knowledgeable, and can offer suggestions to the average home handy person. Because Windsor’s philosophy requires a “hands on” type of management, store managers are most often found serving customers on their own sales floor, resulting in better service levels and a sincere desire to help the customer.

Windsor Plywood has been a part of the growth of Western Canada for 39 years... and will continue to serve the market for years to come.
